Q.Does the price include set up and tear down?
A.Set up and tear down is included for all of our rentals, besides tables and chairs, unless otherwise specified. Our tables and chairs are a drop and go service, but you can add on Chair or Table Service in the Add-Ons section if you'd like our crew to handle that for you!
Q.Do you deliver to other cities?
A.We deliver all around the Northwest Indiana and surrounding Chicagoland areas! We charge $3 per mile, just going one way, from our warehouse in Griffith, IN.
Q.How many hours can I have the unit for?
A.We offer All Day Rates, which includes set up as early as 9am and tear down as late as 10pm for the same set price -- unless stated otherwise on the specific item. Most of our rentals are All Day Rates, but some rentals like our Foam Parties and Add On Attendants are on an hourly rate.
Q.When do you set up?
A.That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance and sometimes even offer overnight rentals from the night before your event, for free! If this is the case, we will call the Thursday or Friday before to confirm when someone will be at the party location.
Q.We've rented some really dirty rental items from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
A.No. Inflatables, tables, chairs, etc., should ALWAYS be clean when you get it. Cooper's Party Rentals, LLC cleans and disinfects after every single rental. We pride ourselves in the cleanliness of our equipment.
Q.Do we have to keep the inflatables plugged in the entire time?
A.Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 100 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Q.What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
A.We love setting up at parks but most parks do not have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must reach out to the Parks & Rec of that area to confirm whether electricity is available, or you can use a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day.
Q.What payments do you take?
A.We only accept card on our website. Our drivers and delivery crew accept cash tips, but do not carry cash for payment methods.
Q.What if we need to cancel?
A.Our cancellation policy is simple! We take a 25% nonrefundable deposit at the time of booking. If you need to cancel, your deposit is held in our system for 1 year as a raincheck that can be redeemed at anytime! If you need to reschedule, we can handle that for you and there is no extra charge! We do not refund or offer rainchecks once our crew is onsite.
Q.Can I host my foam party on my driveway?
A.Due to safety reasons, we only allow foam parties in grassy areas. Our foam solution can become slippery on hard surfaces, and it is important we are setting up somewhere that will not turn into a hazard zone for your guests.
Q.Are there rules we need to follow?
A.Yes. Especially if you are renting an inflatable. Q.Can I keep your equipment overnight?
A.Yes. Our latest pickup time is 10:00PM CST. If you would like to keep your rented unit, tables, chairs, etc. later than 10:00PM, we will consider it an overnight rental and pick up the next morning by 11:30AM. The overnight service is an additional 25% of your total rental costs.
Q.What surfaces do you set up on?
A.We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl units.
Q.Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
A.Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Q.Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
A.Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules, accident or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars.
We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator. We also offer an optional Damage Waiver to all of our customers that will cover accidental damage made to any of our equipment. You can add this on at the time of booking, or call the office to have us add it onto your invoice for you.
